I love “throwing” on the wheel. Manipulating the clay is a sensory wake up. I use porcelain clay which has a creamy look and feel on my hands. However, focus and patience are rewarded on the wheel…otherwise a disaster is waiting in the wings. My objective is to shape a vessel and use glaze colors that draw one’s attention and hopefully not be a boring piece.
