Barbara AW Wright

Barbara brings a diverse background of cartography, science, math, and illustrations of natural science. She uses watercolor, ink, colored pencil, graphite, acrylic and natural objects in her artwork of plants and animals.

She has been passionate about both art and science from a young age.

After earning a degree in geography and cartography, Barbara enjoyed a career in cartography. She was also fortunate to have varied careers in college teaching and science illustration.

Barbara finds wonder and feels awe when viewing all aspects of nature. Her desire is to constantly expand her knowledge and share this wonder of natural marvels through her artwork. She is eager to educate others about the connection between science and the beauty surrounding us.
